Gap year volunteer role: Volunteers teaching in Sri Lanka work in pre-schools with children aged 4-8, or in upper schools teaching children aged 8-17. The main role is to teach English abroad, but volunteers can also run arts and crafts activities for younger students.

This is an action packed and fun-filled week that lets you get to know the Sri Lankan lifestyle and culture firsthand. You will get time to meet local people, taste local cuisine and familiarize yourself with Sri Lankan customs.
