 We got a ferry over to Fort Cochin, I was the only woman on the boat so I felt a bit conspicuous. I'm now hoping to go away as many weekends as possible so I can see lots of different parts of India.

 The thing I was most nervous about on the plane here was meeting my host family. I wanted to fit in to their family life whilst also representing myself as someone from a different culture well. Going to the school was an eye-opening and quite humbling experience.
