DELHI – AGRA – RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR – UDAIPUR – JODHPUR – JAISALMAR – DELHI

Holi is the Hindu festival of colour and the absolute best time to visit India on a gap year! The festival is celebrated by people throwing brightly coloured powder at each other and our Holi Journey takes you to all the most exciting places to enjoy the festivities!
On this 14 day journey you will travel overland to take in some of India’s biggest highlights. Your gap travel tour begins with a trip to the beautiful Taj Mahal (a must-see on any gap year in India!), before heading to Ranthambore National Park, where you can see rare Bengal Tigers, leopards and crocodiles on safari.

The highlights just keep on coming as you head to the spectacular forts and palaces of Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmar and the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. Along the way you’ll take in a kaleidoscope of colours in Rajasthan’s desert dunes, where you’ll have the chance to take a camel ride…if you dare! All the while you’ll be enjoying the kind of unique atmosphere and dazzling festivities that are only found during Holi. This gap year travel programme is truly a once in a lifetime experience!
