Journey in Brief: Get your camera out and get ready for the most magical experience: big cats up close! Tigers are India's most iconic and beautiful animals, and this is your chance to see them close up and in their natural habitat. Kanha National Park was established in 1955 and is one of the world's largest Tiger sanctuaries. On your way you will take in The Taj Mahal and the abandoned Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved Mughal city. You will travel by train and by jeep sleeping in cabins once at the reserve.
The Experience: You will travel from
Delhi (capital of India) out into the heart of the countryside that inspired Kipling's 'The Jungle Book'. Spend 3 days sleeping in log cabins, sit by camp fires and on safari in the jungle, surrounded by 22 species of mammals and over 200 species of birds. There won't be a dull moment and it will be a true adventure from beginning to end.
Travel out into the jungle, experience the countryside, the people and the animals as well as the architectural splendour of the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort.
