With GapGuru you can help educate
and brighten the lives of less privileged children.
ABOUT TEACHING PROJECTS:
Education is a key area to make a difference with your time on your gap year and teaching is the most popular choice.
We offer exciting gap year teaching opportunities across the world. You can use your gap year to work with children – be it the masaai kids, Buddhist monks or slum and street children. Whether you are a qualified teacher or just an individual interested in teaching, we have opportunities for you. You will get a special warm welcome from the kids if you have an aptitude for drama, arts and crafts, music or sport. The children are keen to learn something new and fresh from you. In return, you will learn from them, from the poor, the disabled and from adults eager to make more from their lives.
The opportunities are endless and so is what you will gain. So go on, do something worthwhile on your gap year!

Testimonials:
“
Although I know I helped my students by teaching them some English skills, I learned much, much more. Being immersed in an entirely new culture is a great opportunity to learn more about yourself. I appreciated the strong sense of community amongst all the Volunteers.
