Your Role: As a gap year volunteer you will be involved in every aspect of this project. The role will vary from mobilizing government agencies to advocating the cause of the environment through presentations at schools and corporate houses. You will also be involved in the actual planting and distribution of saplings giving you a unique opportunity to interact and communicate with the masses.
What you gain: This is an excellent opportunity to study conservation and take an active part in raising awareness in and around
Delhi. The fieldwork will put you in the midst of a committed group of environmentalists who are actively engaged in the tree - planting project. If you are already an experienced environmentalist the project will expose you to field work in an entirely new culture and
society.
Aside from providing personal fulfillment, you will get the
opportunity to see first hand what it means to be a
conservationalist . Each year, people from across the
globe come together as volunteers to help in this
essential project.
