Programme Advice - We believe planning what you want to do is a very important first step in your journey. This is why our Programme Advisors have first hand knowledge and experience of India as a destination and

our projects to help you choose the perfect placement and programme for your gap year. They have all traveled extensively and can not only share their experience on travel but also help you clarify what you want to achieve from your own programme.
Programme Administration - Making sure that all ground arrangements are in place, so that everything works like clock work when you arrive in a foreign country. This is absolutely critical to ensure that you have an enjoyable trip. A lot of work goes into making sure that every detail is covered, you have all the papers you need and the projects and homestays in India are ready to welcome you.
In India, every project, voluntary or paid is researched and carefully checked out as is all accommodation where our Gappers stay. We are keen to make sure that you are briefed about local customs and practices, always safe and secure and able to travel independently or with others on the programme to experience India and make the most of your time there.
Local Representatives - In each of the six cities where we currently operate there is a GapGuru Local Representative, who acts as your mentor and guide, committed to providing personal support to ensure you are able to make the most of your time in India. They will ensure that you are met at the airport when you arrive and will be there to support you when you need advice and help you settle into life in India.
Country management team - The Country management team is always at hand to provide you additional support or if you are traveling outside the Local representatives area or need some additional advice. The Country team is always traveling to check quality of our service and to meet Gappers, Projects and Homestays.
