best possible service to its gappers and to this end, is affiliated to a number of external bodies to ensure that these high standards are maintained.
BETA is a
not-for-profit trade association founded by some of Britain's biggest and best-known travel and educational organisations.
BETA's objective is to be the leading association for those who operate in, or supply services to, education and or youth, student and educational travel.
It has already received many indications of support from its members and GapGuru is proud to be one of them.
Partnering with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office
Keeping our gappers up to date and safe is our highest priority and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's (FCO) campaign 'Know Before You Go' aims to do just that.
GapGuru is proud to partner with the FCO to ensure travellers are properly prepared before leaving home to help them have a trouble-free and enjoyable time abroad.
Working with the City & Guilds to recognize your achievement
City & Guilds is the UK's leading vocational awarding body, offering more than 500 qualifications over 28 Industrial sectors, through 8500 approved centres in around 100 countries worldwide.
In conjunction with City & Guilds, GapGuru has developed a 'Profile of Achievement' which will provide you with formal recognition of your achievements while on a gap year in India.
Doing our bit for the environment with Climate Care
On your gap year you are likely to travel, weather it be by plane, car or train. As you do so, CO2 is added into the atmosphere. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt.
GapGuru in partnership with ClimateCare, enables you to offset your flight emissions by contributing to the funding of sustainable energy projects.
To offset the CO2 generated by your international flight (UK to India) will require a contribution of £17.25. Please do not hesitate to tell us if you do not wish to make this contribution.
